Tomás rejoined Archer Capital in 2011 and has since managed the acquisition of Allity and ECH Aged Care and led the acquisition of New Zealand Pharmaceuticals. He previously worked at Archer from 2001 to 2004, during which time he worked on the acquisitions of Tasman 2, RED Paper and Amart All Sports, as well as the divestments of Repco and Dôme Coffees. Tomás is currently a director of Allity and New Zealand Pharmaceuticals.
In the interim, Tomás remained in private equity, working for MidOcean Partners and Macquarie Group. At MidOcean, a UK/US mid-market generalist buyout firm, Tomás focused on operational performance turnaround and financial restructuring of UK portfolio companies. At Macquarie, Tomás worked in the European private equity team on portfolio company management and deal execution. Prior to joining Archer Tomás worked for McKinsey & Company in the UK, Europe and South America as well as co-founding an Australian convergent media start-up delivering multi-channel consumer entertainment.
Tomás holds a Master of Business Administration (Distinction) from INSEAD and Master of Engineering and Bachelor of Arts (Engineering) degrees from Cambridge University.
